This 3-day instructor-led ISO/IEC 42001:2023 Internal Auditor course equips participants with the knowledge and skills to audit Artificial Intelligence Management Systems (AIMS) in accordance with ISO/IEC 42001 and auditing principles aligned with ISO 19011.

Participants will review ISO/IEC 42001 requirements from an internal audit perspective, including AI governance, risk management, lifecycle controls, documented information, and performance evaluation. Through practical examples and audit-based exercises, participants will learn how to plan, conduct, report, and follow up on internal audits using objective evidence to evaluate conformance.

Learning Objectives:
- Apply auditing principles, terminology, and the process approach, including concepts aligned with ISO 19011, to internal audits of Artificial Intelligence Management Systems.
- Outline the roles and responsibilities of auditees and auditors.
- Assess auditor competence and manage audit programs, including risk evaluation.
- Plan and conduct internal audit activities efficiently using appropriate audit methods and objective evidence.
- Evaluate agreement and documentation of audit completion and follow-up activities.

Course Prerequisites:
Participants who register only for the one-day Internal Auditor course must first complete the two-day ISO/IEC 42001 Implementation course.
